Time sells ads on its profile pages

Time.com is launching a program granting advertisers space on its Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages. Siemens, an engineering firm, was the first company to sign up, gaining exposure to Time's 72,000 Facebook fans and about 1.4 million Twitter followers. The social ads are fairly understated, but they're positioned near natural attention focuses, such as links and photos.
