AAP: Doctor should OK youths for sports after concussion

AAP's Council on Sports Medicine and Fitness recommended children with concussions be cleared by a physician before resuming sports. The report in Pediatrics said children may be even more susceptible to the effects of a concussion than older athletes and may take longer to recover.
