Bear attack highlights lax Ohio laws on exotic pets

The recent bear attack that led to the death of its caretaker in a Cleveland suburb highlights the fact that the state has some of the country's weakest laws governing exotic pets and also has one of the highest incidents of exotic pet attacks. Owners of exotic animals often see themselves as conservationists who are saving the animals. But owners are often overwhelmed by the animals as they grow.
