CMS is urged to re-examine reporting measures for outpatient services

The Premier alliance has asked the CMS to revisit the quality reporting standards it proposed for outpatient services under Medicare. The alliance called for adopting quality measures that align with the meaningful use criteria for electronic health records to minimize redundant reporting, among other recommendations.
