North Carolina school has creative uses for rainwater

Carrboro High in North Carolina has turned to rain recycling in the face of budget cuts. The school uses rainwater to fill toilets and to keep its athletic fields green. Carrboro gets about 75% of its water for irrigation from a retention pond even in dry conditions, says a maintenance supervisor.
