Baxter acquires Baxa for $380 million

Englewood, Colo.-based Baxa, a developer of the InFuse syringe infuser among other pharmacy devices and automation technology products, has been acquired by Baxter for $380 million. The buyout will allow Baxter to expand its product portfolio in intravenous nutrition and fluid delivery.
