The tornado that ripped through Joplin, Mo., in May damaged Kraft Insurance Services' building, but business went on -- almost as usual -- after moving over to the Holiday Inn. They ran off of generators and cellphones and retained remote access to their servers, which had survived undamaged. Things went pretty well but could have been better had the Krafts fully developed their disaster plan before the tornado, they said.
