Neighbor districts poised to help New Orleans' children

With schools in the New Orleans area expected to be closed for months, Louisiana districts up to 350 miles away have started enrolling evacuated children. Texas has advised its superintendents to welcome Louisiana children "with open arms" and is easing state rules on class sizes and textbook purchasing for systems that accept displaced students.
