What's behind Google's print ad brokering play?

While the news yesterday that Google is buying and reselling print advertising space to its online advertisers left many scratching their heads, for some observers the move makes perfect sense. JupiterResearch analyst Gary Stein said: "Advertising is turning into this math problem for them. At some point, who cares whether it's print or online or skywriting or whatever?"
