Las Vegas restores former glory to old signs

A $1.1 million Las Vegas Boulevard Scenic Byways Plan is restoring iconic neon signs to be installed on the thoroughfare. A vintage sign from the Bow and Arrow Motel already has been installed, and the slipper from the old Silver Slipper Gambling Hall and the horseshoe from Binion's Horseshoe casino are expected to be up soon.
