NFL bans tweeting from the sidelines

Just in time for football season, the NFL has announced rules about Twitter and other social-media outlets for players, coaches and employees. They must stop updating their feeds 90 minutes before kickoff, with a special emphasis on banning play-by-play accounts of games. An official says the guidelines preserve media rights and keep the players' minds on the game.
