NPD Group: Snacking will keep growing

New types of snack foods and a changing definition of the way people eat are expected to spur an 18.5% increase in snacking by 2018. "Many consumers are eating on the go, and there are more and more foods available to meet this need," said Ann Hanson, director of product development at The NPD Group.
