School keeps teachers trained in technology to plan lessons

Teachers at a New Orleans school are learning to use Microsoft Word and Excel to create and save lesson plans, and they are using technology to map out an entire year's curriculum. These lessons and others are part of a twice-monthly training program where teachers have learned to create e-portfolios for students, maintain student grades online and use teaching tools such as interactive whiteboards and PowerPoint.
