Senate delays U.S. climate-change bill to end of month

U.S. Senate Democrats plan to delay the climate-change bill because of the death of Sen. Edward Kennedy and other factors. The plan to introduce the bill by early September has been pushed back until the end of the month. The U.S. House passed its version of the bill in June, and lawmakers had planned to pass a Senate version before the United Nations convenes a summit in December.
