Senator recommends taking smaller bites out of health reform

Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., called on fellow lawmakers to take on health care reform issues one step at a time instead of reaching too far too fast to overhaul the system. Alexander suggested tighter regulations on medical malpractice awards and a ban on denying insurance coverage to patients with pre-existing conditions.
