Enbridge tests ruptured line, plans to reinforce others

Enbridge Energy Partners plans to reinforce its oil pipelines under Lake Michigan, five weeks after a rupture in an Enbridge land pipeline caused an oil spill into the Kalamazoo River in Michigan. Enbridge wants to buttress the two underwater pipelines with anchor braces. Meanwhile, the ruptured pipeline, known as Line 6B, is being tested to deliver oil safely again to refiners.
