Group rallies for reforms in new contract for Boston teachers

Boston United for Students -- an organization of parents, students and education advocates -- staged a rally outside the Boston School Department on Wednesday to call for stronger teacher evaluations, more instructional time and other changes as part of the city's upcoming contract with teachers. The rally coincided with the expiration of the teachers' current contract, and negotiations are expected to take months.
