Blog: Pilots can practice without flight simulators

Blogger George Larson says a recent article about airplane automation shows the limits of flight simulators, but pilots can practice upset training on their own. "Most people who learned to fly by sensing what the airplane was doing through their fingertips instead of looking at a video screen miss that feeling," Larson writes.
