Experts debunk 6-meals-a-day weight-loss theory

Eating six small meals a day may not show better weight-loss results compared with a traditional three-meals-a-day approach, according to obesity expert Éric Doucet of the University of Ottawa. Doucet and a team of researchers found that 19 of 20 studies analyzed did not associate frequent-but-portion-controlled meals with increased metabolism or significant weight loss.
