Pennsylvanians support gas industry, survey finds

The majority of Pennsylvanians in a Franklin & Marshall College survey said that they support natural gas drillers and also support taxing drilling. The respondents, however, were opposed to allowing more drilling in the state's forests. The results show Pennsylvanians "understand the enormous environmental, economic and national security benefits associated with this historic opportunity before us," said Kathryn Klaber, president and executive director of the Marcellus Shale Coalition.
