Salt takes up more space on restaurant menus

Mentions of salt on restaurant menus has risen 144% in the past five years, according to data from Technomic, reflecting a trend toward new spice blends and designer sea salts that's not necessarily in conflict with the industry's pledge to reduce sodium in their dishes, says Technomic's Darren Tristano.
