Japan sustains inflationary drive

Japan's consumer prices advanced for the second straight month in July, rising 0.7% year-on-year after a 0.4% gain in June. June's rise was the first since 2008 and suggested the government's new drive for 2% annual inflation was beginning to gain traction.
