D.C. library targets homeless patrons' needs with staff social worker

The public library system in Washington, D.C., has hired a social worker to coordinate services for homeless patrons. The health and human services coordinator, who started work in May, will train staff to assist homeless individuals, and seeks to connect homeless patrons to social services and the community.
