More Arizona schools fall short of AYP targets

The number of Arizona schools failing to make NCLB's adequate yearly progress targets this year in reading and math increased to 384, compared with 319 last year. The state could force schools that have failed for four straight years to replace their principals, although so far it hasn't exercised that option with any schools.
