Radio host Michelangelo Signorile chatted up U.S. Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, activist Gary Bauer and anti-tax advocate Grover Norquist at the Republican convention in St. Paul, Minn. Meanwhile, Andrew Sullivan describes the choice of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as the GOP's vice-presidential candidate as "a good day for gay Republicans," but out U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., believes the selection of Palin "calls into question both Sen. [John] McCain's judgment and a McCain administration's ability to lead a nation in crisis."
