Renewable-energy efforts turn to storage solutions

Generating renewable energy such as wind power and solar energy is the easy part, but storing it for use at a later time presents a challenge. Scientists are looking at ways to store solar energy in a battery, and companies are searching for ways to store wind energy with compressed air. A state law in Massachusetts mandates that 25% of energy will have to come from renewable sources by 2030.
