Akron-Canton Airport gets $1.4M fire safety upgrade

Ohio's Akron-Canton Airport put two new fire trucks into service on Tuesday. The trucks, with a price tag of $695,000 each, were obtained as part of a $110 million capital improvement plan. The new trucks were required to remain in compliance with FAA regulations on airport safety, and the old trucks were sold to foreign buyers for $220,000.
