Device group comments on FDA's guidance on risk information in ads

The FDA's draft guidelines on stating risk information in promotional materials mainly focus on drugs and fail to consider factors specific to medical devices, according to the Advanced Medical Technology Association. In its comments to the FDA, the trade group advised the agency to create a distinct guidance for device ads.
