Joblessness in eurozone tops 15 million

Unemployment in the 16-nation eurozone climbed to slightly more than 15 million in July, the EU statistics office said. In Spain, the unemployment rate increased from 18.1% in June to 18.5% in July. Joblessness in Germany, Europe's biggest economy, held steady at 7.7% for the three months ending in July.
