Weight gain in early adulthood increases prostate cancer risk

Researchers found that the risk for prostate cancer is greater in men who gained weight in young adulthood, although the risk varies by ethnicity. The study of almost 84,000 men "underscores the importance of investigating cancer etiology in diverse populations," one of the researchers said.
