Denbury Resources says it is near plugging N.D. oil well

Denbury Resources says it is close to sealing a leaking oil well in North Dakota. The 10,000-foot well was running when its pipe casing broke down, and more than 220 barrels of oil and 1,534 barrels of hydraulic fracturing fluid have been spilled, the company said. "We are pumping drilling fluid into the well and expect to have it brought under control this evening," Denbury Vice President of Operations Bob Cornelius said Thursday.
