More than 16M work at firms eligible for insurance tax credit

A Commonwealth Fund report said 16.6 million people working for small businesses are eligible for health insurance tax credits but only 3.4 million are at firms expected to take advantage of the credit. Companies that already offer employee health coverage are most likely to use the credit, but those that don't offer insurance probably will not see the tax break as enough of a financial incentive to start doing so, the report said.
