OSHA plans to enforce new crane-safety rules starting Nov. 8

The Associated Builders and Contractors has requested that federal safety enforcers delay new crane regulations, giving builders more time to comply. But the Occupational Safety and Health Administration says it plans to begin enforcing the rules on Nov. 8 as previously planned. The ABC says that its smaller members may not have the resources to comply on time.
