Restaurants win with charity partnerships

Restaurant owners are often the first to step in to help worthy causes, donating everything from gift cards to high-profile charity meals, and are often rewarded with new business as a result of their charitable associations. "It really is a win-win situation," said Julie Pezzino, executive director of Grow Pittsburgh, an organization that promotes responsible urban food development.
