U.S. military launches network security initiative

The Cyber Insider Threat, a security effort launched by the Defense Advanced Projects Agency, is focused on discovering inside threats against the government's military networks by tracking user and network activity. The project follows a major security incident in which 70,000 documents on military operations in Afghanistan were reportedly released by a military officer.
