Canada expects U.S. approval of Keystone XL pipeline

Canadian Environment Minister Peter Kent expects the U.S. government to clear TransCanada's Keystone XL pipeline. Supporters of the project say it would generate thousands of jobs and reduce U.S. dependence on energy imports. "There are ... the significant elements of both fuel security [and] energy security, but also jobs and stimulation of the economy along the path of the entire pipeline," Kent said.
