Carriers disagree on National and LaGuardia slot auction

The Federal Aviation Administration made it a condition of its tentative approval of the Delta-US Airways that the carriers divest 16 slot pairs at LaGuardia Airport and eight at Reagan National Airport. "Some carriers are arguing that the number is not sufficient," this article says. In addition, while the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey filed comments supporting approval of the plan, the Airports Council International-North America voiced disapproval.
