Survey shows Twitter users are receptive to ads

Half of Twitter users say they follow one to 10 brands on the site, and 11.1% say that keeping up with brands is the main reason they use Twitter, according to a survey by market research firm Lab42. Meanwhile, about 1 in 4 Twitter users surveyed said the sites' ad product, Promoted Tweets, has shown an ad relevant to them, while only 10.9% find the ads annoying.
