Tight budgets threaten services for those with disabilities in Texas:

Budget cuts are threatening services, such as recreational programs and physical therapy for 12,000 children and adults with disabilities in Texas. New caps on the services are set to take effect Dec. 1 and will not affect life-saving treatments and services. However, specialized therapy services will be sharply curtailed, which advocates say are still essential to the lives of many individuals with disabilities and their families.
