Headteacher in England critical of GCSE change

Rob Campbell, principal of Impington Village College, recently met with Education Secretary Michael Gove over the elimination of an assessed speaking element of GCSE English. Officials said the assessment was cut over concerns it was being carried out improperly. Campbell, however, said the change is unfair to students who participated in the assessment thinking it would be part of their GCSEs.
