Hospital dietitian: Nutrition is part of collaborative care model

The close work and cooperation among hospital staff that help an infant make the transition from feeding tube to solid food illustrate how important nutrition is in the care of patients, said dietitian Linda Fredenberg of Kalispell Regional Healthcare in Montana. "Dietitians are consulted for virtually any type of patient because everyone eats," Fredenberg said.
