Ill. district helps students with disabilities ease into adult life

A transition program in the Glenbrook High School District 225 in Northbrook, Ill., helps students with disabilities, ages 18 to 21, immerse into independent adult life by spending their days in a less-structured environment. Students learn life skills and enroll in college-preparatory classes. They also have access to job opportunities and independent work doing favorite activities.
