NASA has big plans for 21st century, including asteroid deflection

Pete Worden, director of the NASA Ames Research Center at Moffett Field in California, says this century will mark more human progress in space than the last. Upcoming NASA missions include efforts to protect the Earth from asteroids and the Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer to investigate the Moon's exosphere.
