Teachers develop S.D. district's math curriculum

Math classes in the Aberdeen Public School District in South Dakota will be filled this school year with students using manipulatives and student presentations to better understand math concepts. The district's emphasis on problem-solving and deeper understanding are part of a new common-core-aligned curriculum developed by district elementary-, middle- and high-school teachers.
