Extremely premature babies at higher risk for behavior problems later

Babies born very early are at high risk for later behavioral problems as well as the attention and social problems previously found, according to a new British study published in the September issue of Pediatrics. Teachers reported 19.4% of six-year-olds born at 25 weeks or earlier had behavioral issues compared to just 3.4% born of full-term children.
