Offshore wind power may come to Northeast U.S.

Instead of offshore drilling, the U.S. is investing in offshore wind energy along the Northeast coast. Delaware, Rhode Island and New Jersey are putting together offshore turbine projects to harness energy from the windy coastline. New York City is also looking at a proposal to install wind turbines 25 miles away from Manhattan.
