Sony will sell two Blu-ray units in U.S. for fall

For the first holiday selling season since winning the DVD-format war against Toshiba, Sony introduced its fall lineup of Blu-ray players, including a new unit for the global market that will ship in December and retail for $2,000. The high-end product will join a second new Blu-ray player Sony launched in the U.S. in July for $399. The company also said it would sell seven Blu-ray recorders in Japan.
