Chemtura works to emerge from bankruptcy a year after filing

Specialty chemical firm Chemtura says it is working to emerge from bankruptcy by March, which would be a year after filing, according to company CEO Craig Rogerson. The bankruptcy came when the company couldn't find buyers for its ventures in crop protection and petroleum additives. However, he said, operations have stabilized since entering Chapter 11, with customers receiving orders and suppliers being paid.
