European investors pour cash into cyclical bonds

As the economy improves, corporate-bond investors in Europe are in search of greater yields and thus starting to buy more cyclical bonds, or debt issued by companies that ebb and flow with the business cycle. During the first six months of the year, many investors opted to purchase bonds from companies of which earnings are not as dependent on the business cycle, such as telecoms and utilities.
