Suspicious package closes SFO security checkpoint

A security checkpoint at San Francisco International Airport's Terminal 3 was shut down for more than two hours on Wednesday after a police dog detected a suspicious package. The package was found in a drop box for items not allowed through security. Officials later said the package did not represent a threat, though they did not reveal its contents.
